Linoleum Block Print Cards

I was thinking about today's generation growing up in the digital age.  Children of today won't have that shoe box under their bed full of momentos - things like a card from grandma, a concert ticket stub, a love letter, even photos or that first Valentine card.  Everything is digital.

That is when I decided to start making linoleum block print cards.  They are still "gourd" oriented - these "Harvest" cards are prints of some of my "gourd-o-lanterns."  If you are interested in purchasing a card - I have a few for sale in my "Etsy" shop: Gourdonville

Growing Gourds

I enjoy growing gourds almost as much as I enjoy being creative with gourds.  I just love the wild and crazy vines - I am never able to guess how far they will grow.  The vines always end up reaching other areas of the garden that I never thought was a possible distance to grow in one season.

The varying shapes and sizes are amazing! - Bottle gourds, cannon ball gourds, apple gourds, egg gourds, miniature gourds, kettle gourds, canteen gourds .........etc........

Feel free to join the facebook group "Gourdonville": Gourdonville Group
